Kelly has over 20 years’ experience working in the Northern Territory performing arts sector.  Having grown up in the NT, she left to study a Bachelor of Theatre, Technical Production, and returned in 2006 on its completion.

During her career she spent six years as Venue Manager at Darwin’s iconic Brown’s Mart Theatre. Other previous roles have included Production Manager and Stage Manager with some of Darwin’s leading arts company’s such as Tracks Inc, Darwin Theatre Company and NT Dance Company.  Early in her career Kelly spent several years working as Corrugated Iron Youth Arts’ Production Manager and returned in 2021 to work as the General Manager for 5 years.

She is currently a member of the 2024/25 Creative Australia Creative Leadership Program cohort, comprised of 35 arts leadership from around the country.  Kelly is a passionate arts worker. She has dedicated her career to supporting and nurturing the artistic vision and career development of others and holds the relationships that she has made during this time to the highest value.

Kelly is the mother of two boys, and feels privileged to raise her family on Larrakia country, and to call Garramilla their home.
