Dog Dog

About

Dog Dog lives on a forgotten beach, under a forgotten boat, surrounded by lots of forgotten things. Dog Dog really wants a friend. In his quest to find his pack, Dog Dog discovers that sometimes the best mates come from unexpected places, and that you can’t always tell by looking at something if it’s going to be good or bad.

Produced by SALT Theatre and Corrugated Iron and written specifically for Territory audiences, Dog Dog is suitable for primary school aged children in transition to grade three. The play is accompanied by workshops that explore themes of friendship and trust, and how pretending creates story.

Workshop detail

Explore the joys of performing in this hour long workshop where students will learn about how pretending creates story. Based on the themes of friendship and trust, participants will turn everyday objects into tools for acting and reimagine classrooms as beaches filled with their own touches of magic.

The experience of theatre will be extended as students sing songs from the show and meet puppets from the performance.
