Colours of the Country III
Alice Springs Beanie Festival
About
Now on its third national tour, Colours of the Country III is a collection of work from the Alice Springs Beanie Festival. This exhibition encapsulates the imagination, creativity and fine craftsmanship inherent in each piece, while also highlighting the ongoing contribution from Indigenous artists from the Central Desert region.
Colours of the Country III is an exhibition embraced by artists and beanie makers from far and wide, inspiring audiences to laugh, and challenge their perceptions of what is a piece of quintessential cold weather head gear.
Selected works from Colours of the Country III have been audio described for exhibition visitors who are vision impaired. These are available at the venue and delivered via MP3 player.
