The exhibition was Developed by Artist Michael O’Doherty.

“An exhibition featuring hand-made clay models of Ceramic Monaro’s made by famous and not famous Australians” Press Release 1998.

Michael Doherty conducted more than 18 Monaro making workshops across the NT in schools, correctional center’s and communities.

Fire pits were built in each community to fire the ceramics works.  In addition, Michael  responded to the Territory passion of NT participants and made a special Toyota Troopy model in place of the Monaro as an alternative for participants to fire and paint.
