The ITDP followed from 2006 Indigenous Performing Arts Brokerage (IPAB). In 2007 it aimed to conduct research and consult with Aboriginal Art Centres and dance groups throughout Central Australia. Presented by desart, ArtbackNT, Alice Springs Desert Festival. Held at Alice Springs Telegraph Station in partnership with NT Parks and Wildlife
