Successful applicants will be notified by 24th of November, 2017
Artback NT is thrilled to offer six independent Northern Territory artists the opportunity to attend the Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) 2018.
APAM is Australia’s leading industry event for contemporary performing arts, designed to facilitate international and national touring. Taking place in Brisbane from 19 – 23 February 2018, APAM will bring together over 1200 participants from the Australian and international performing arts industries.
Successful artists will receive industry support from selected NT arts managers, as well as costs associated with the event: including registration, flights, accommodation and travel allowance.
APAM presents a unique opportunity for NT artists and arts workers to share work, be inspired by what is happening elsewhere and make our mark on the national and international performing arts landscape. Delegates will have extensive networking and professional development opportunities, while enjoying the APAM curation of the latest production showcases and pitches from around Australia and New Zealand.
The APAM 2018 NT Artist’s delegation has been made possible thanks to Strategic Arts Program funding, Arts NT.
Eligible NT artists are now invited to submit an Expression of Interest.
Successful applicants will be selected via a panel process, with a focus on:
- The Artist’s five-year strategy for their work nationally and internationally and how attendance at APAM 2018 will support this
- The Artist’s knowledge of the NT arts and culture sector and their ability to be an NT arts ambassador
- The Artist’s identified professional development outcomes
